That's No Fair--Two+ Against One! |
|
Any good tactics on how to split up two or more baddies so I can take 'em out one at a time instead of getting killed repeatedly?? I think the game is trying to tell me that I'm not ready to do something or to take a particular route when I can't deal with a double threat. Thanks. |

Try atleast weakening one if not killing it with a ranged weapon.
You can also try attacking them untill your life gets low and then run away untill they stop persuing, heal, then go back at it again (provided they're not as fast as you).
If an NPC is close by, lure the enemies towards them and try to get the last hit in.
Level some somewhere else then come back when you're stronger.
Try inching towards one of them untill it alone attacks you (some enemies, such as wolves, will still attack in packs no matter what though).
If, like goblins, one tries to go behind you, back up against a wall (might have a bad camera angle though).
If a narrow passageway is available, just swing whenever one of them gets close, and the other should jump back as well.
Rush in and get as many hits off on one of them while they're still staring/yelling at you.
If you don't care about exp, and you're next to a cliff, see if you can get some of them to fall off. |

When I had to deal with 4 or 5 lizard men in a building I lured them through the door and shot ice block when the 3rd one stood in the door. Gave me just enought time to kill them. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

I've found that if a group starts after you, run away until you hear them make their "oh, forget it" noise. Run another second or so, then turn around. You'll often find that while most have gone back, one may charge you again. If you practice at this you can gradually work your way through a whole group one at a time.
I used this method to chew my way through the Orcs guarding the main pass into the VoM. _________________ imposterAZ
