oh for the love of ore (aka what to do with the stuff?)
   

now it's fairly clear that the merc uses ore to forge weapons (and very nice weapons at that) but here's a question for all you paladins and mages out there (well okay those who're playing them, it's just a game afterall ):

can you do anything special with the ore you got? (besides sell it of course)

would be nice to be able to hand in any found ore as a paladin or use it's magical properties for something as a mage (or maybe you can, playing a merc i wouldn't know)

AFAIK it is only good for forging... so if you get any as a paladin or mage you should just sell it... it does bring in a pretty penny!

As a paladin or a mage you can use it to forge wepons too... you can learn the basics from bennet and the rest (another sword(made of of 1 ore and 1 raw steel)) from the blacksmith in the castel (not jan).
