In the Summer 2002 Contest at <a href="http://www.gamefaqs.com" target=new">GameFAQs.com</a>, the contest is who is the most popular video game character of all time. The contest has 64 entries done NCAA bracket-style. Two characters face off daily.
Today's character battle is Gabe Logan of Syphon Filter vs. Sephiroth of Final Fantasy VII.
Help Sephiroth destroy Logan!

If you read the post carefully, Dark Lotus mentions which games each character comes from 
As for myself, I have no idea what "Syphon Filter" is... never seen that. Is it a console game?

Well, i don't know who the Gabe guy is, but Sephiroth is definitely a VERY awesome character. I loved FF7, and even though Sephiroth did some very bad stuff that made me hate him (you know what i mean, but i won't say it to spoil it for everyone else), but he is still very cool. With that big, long, sword, and that really long white hair, he's definitely up to my standards.
