So far throughout my morrowind experience i havent come across any children, i created an argonian with a rather sickining taste for children...but now i cant find any, is it possible that all of my fellow argonians hate them all before i did, or did people stop *Couph*, or is it possible that another race killed them all, i dont know, for right now ill have to change my appetite to adults...*sigh* |

There was some legal dispute few years' back, that any game involving killing and children cannot have PG ratings. I have no idea how did it end.

It wouldn't be legality that killed a dark evil role playing game, it would be the rating. It would get an adults-only rating even if it wasn't graphic (that would fringe on illegality, thank you virtual porn laws  ) and an adults only rating would kill the game. None of the big markets would carry it, most stores have explicit rules about not carrying adult software or videos.
Maybe someday they can afford to be more risque with the content, but it's definatly not today.[/quote] |

well guest you just answered your own question....... There is no way a game like this could have children and still be marketable. think about it a game as linear as this opens up alot of problems some complicated childporno probs etc but mostly just the fact that there are people like you who want to go around slaughtering children and these days that just aint gonna fly heck you cant even show the middle finger on tv these days...well at least in America and thats the biggest market so thank all of your complaining mothers who since they are stuck in the house all day have nothing better to do that bitch about EVERYTHING.........sorry about the rant. |

You get off on killing kids? Yeah, call me one of those moms with nothing better to do, but hey, if there is a group that's gonna stop people from having 'fun' by virtually slaughtering children, sign me up.

But it is a shame that there are no kids in game since I kinda liked doing the 'save my baby, she's fallen in the well' quests in Daggerfall.

If your so mentally unstable that you fear a game can influence real life or can influence kids then you and your kids need serious help or you dont have free will. Its not real life... lighten up. I have played violent games... watched violent movies all my life and never once thought about doing anything like that in real life. Stop using games and movies as an easy way out. When adults or kids do these things in real life they need to tell the real reason why they "chose to do it". To do a test we should stop making vido games and movies period and i guarentee the same problems exist. Then who are you going to blame. I know i got off the topic but eventually the argument would have led to this. LOL |
