Did you ever gain experience for killing yourself? 
I did.
I believe there are lots of ways of doing that but I did it by summoning two golems.They started atacking eachother.Then i hit on of them and he started atacking me.When he killed me I gained 135 points of experience

You cant get 135 points, becuase the poinst you get is level from the target + 0, like if you are level 2 you get 20 xp if you are level 20 you get 200 xp....
