A trainload of new material for GothicDot

A few days ago I received a few files with a lot of detailed data retrieved from Gothic:
  • detailed NPC stats
  • NPC dialogs
  • waypoints
  • NPC daily routines
  • monster spawn details
  • NPC inventory per chapter

Add the word 'all' in most lines.
The problem:
All data was delivered in text files. Jaz and I donīt have enough time to create hundreds of htmls, jpgs and maps to put the material online.

Uploading the pure text files is no option. They could be copied to easily.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Sounds like you have a bit of a problem there..

The only suggestion I can come up with is to "recruite" trusted people from the RPGdot.com boards to help you, but then again - you can never trust somebody entirely, so I'm at a loss..

you can never really trust anyone that you don't truly know.

Okay, thanks for your answers.

Trusting forum members isnīt a problem. Who else should we trust if not our own community?

I see two possible solutions to the problem. Remember the material is in structured .txt files.

The necessary layout has to be designed.

1. Then we have to find enough helpful forum members to copy & paste the material into the layout frame. Followed by a lot of uploads and linking.
10 people could do all this quickly. I donīt think a dataset would take longer than 3 minutes to be ready for upload.

or

2. Somebody with good programming skills could import the whole thing into an adequate database. Then the html content could be generated.

This material sounds exactly like the stuff in the dev kit. I wouldn't invest any effort in processing it.
