Ok so im at the part where i think im supposed to turn into a mealbug, crawl under the wall and open the gate. The problem is i cant open the gate and i cant change back. |

Don't feel stupid, that's explained absolutely NOWHERE in the manuals, no one figured that one out right away.

The first time I turned to a mealbug, I thought it was a glitch when I couldn't turn back. I ended up reloading a save from about a half an hour before. I felt Really stupid when I figured that out. |

Just HOW long do the transform spells generally last? Especially the Bloodfly one --- it would be quite fun to fly at a safe height & explore the Gothic world as a tourist bloodfly (might also get some amazing screenshots).
Also I've been playing pretty much as a sniper/ranger and the Bloodfly spell could get me to some very safe locations to go after those ShadowBeasts I've been able to master . . . |

The transform spells seem to last forever... as long as you don't press enter.
Exploration as a Bloodfly is well possible, I did it myself once - just make sure that you don't get too close to some of your natural enemies... or try and sting a Razor in flying by as I did (splat). |

I like chasing down diggers as an Orc Hound or a Lurker... but maybe I'm just evil.

I did that as an experiment once 8transform into an Orcdog and hunt people) when I was nearly through the game... even though I didn't harm anybody in person, I inadvertently got Cavalorn and Scorpio killed that way, so - yes, doing stuff like this IS evil  . |
