As the rollercoaster continues, Gamespot is reporting that Herve Caen has secured workers compensation insurance for Interplay, allowing workers to return to the Irvine CA offices. How many staff actually return and what work they might continue with isn't known yet. |

Titus did not file for bankrupty, but is instead trying to sell assets to pay debt.
Redressement judiciaire in 90% of the case finishes with the company closing doors, but there are other 10% of success stories, one of those is Mandrake, that succeeded in restructuring and got the end of judicial administration last month.
And Interplay still require the company to pay neglected wages and associated penalties, so they are in a very shaky ground, they can be closed again at any time.
Beware of Herve spin.

What are you talking about? |

No really, their business model of buying up good licenses, getting everybody's hopes up, then cancelling the game in the 11th hour can't fail. They'll be profitable again in no time! |

Curiously, why would you want IPLY to survive? It isn't as if the talent remains. There's just Herve and some internet technicians a.k.a. janitors (Steve Jobes I'm talking about you.) |
