I don't have soul shield and I am toast with these guys. Maybe I should go work for the T'Rang and get some more levels. Hiding in wait prolongs the certain death. I tried call elemental but it did't work.

A high-powered magic screen might minimize the damage some, but without soul shield, you're going to have trouble. The hole in your defenses will be magnified as you go deeper into the deep.

Might be a good idea to pick up a level or two, as you say.

If you have party withou magic screen, you need to walk near to them before they will "start battle". You need to hide behind corners etc., because if you will not this, you will be dead before you will be enough near to them to use fighters.

In fact, you'll need soul shield so often that I'd recommend you get two characters capable of casting it, if you can, so that they can alternate.

& mana stones & potions are also handy. There's really no place to rest. This is another place where i'm glad to have a Portal to the hex fountain in Trynnton...
Eye-for-an-Eye is fun down here, too.
