I need help with one of the first Main Quests

After delivering the package to caiuss in Balmora, I went to the guy at the fighters guild and got that quest, but when I am in the dungeon he told me to go to, I have nowhere else to go. There is a locked door which is the only thing I haven't explored. Will someone please help me?

One of the very first things needed in the game are lock picks. You are not very clear on what dungeon you are talking about. The first guest at the Balmora Fighter's Guild is clearing out some rats. I think the second guest is finding the egg pochers. If that is the quest you're talking about, the egg poachers are there down the winding path. I don't remember any locked doors; but like I said, get some lockpicks. To use them, equip them like a weapon and then use them.

I think he's referring to the first Dwemer dungeon that Hasphat sends you to, looking for the infamous puzzlebox.

If I'm right, look thru this forum for puzzlebox. You'll find several threads about this, since the puzzlebox is extremely hard to to see. It's not behind that locked door you're talking about (again, assuming I know what dungeon you're talking about)- Hasphat will give you a key to that area later on.
