Are musical instruments of any use in this game? I have a fat lute and a couple of drums stashed away in a crate. They only sell for 1 gold apiece. |

They seem to be useless. There's one mini quest where a guy wants a specific drum, but it doesn't work anyways, due to a glitch. _________________ Great minds don't think alike, they think creatively. |

I think the instruments work with the Entertainers plug-in. There's a bar in Balmora(?) where if you speak to the owner you can choose to 'Entertain the patrons', and playing the lute is one of the means of entertainment made available, along with telling gags and dancing. |

It's *supposed* to, but doesn't, in my experience. The relevant character says "Oh I see you've foudnd the drum", and it goes no further than that. |
