Rapax Castle.

Portcullis Key: there is no apparent place to use it.

Prison tunnel: leads to some weird ladder with some kind of trap door over it? 'Nothing happens' when I try to use the ladder.

Prince's Playroom: cute statue with a spear. Obvious hidden space under the bed. No obvious way to influence anything (except the adorable rocking hogar).

I would have more patience for figuring these out but the constant reloading between the Cellar, Main Level, and Upper Level areas is starting to grate on me. Please nudge me in the direction of getting these three things solved. As always, incredibly explicit and detailed spoilers will annoy me. But I will be grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance
Z

OK let's try to keep things good and vague...

1) There's an area in the castle with a raised podium. IIRC, you can see the sky from there, but I'm not talking about the zoo. That gets you in the right general location to do something with the key.

2) Sorry, I don't remember. Otter?

3) In the playroom, you can find a "key" that might help wind up your frustration with the statue. (I'm real proud of this hint.. )

Hope that helps. If not, ask again, and I'll be a little more specific.

The secret tunnel isn't very useful, in my humble opinion. You can't use the ladder because something is blocking the entrance. If you want to find out where it leads, mark the spot of the ladder on your map, then backtrack through the cellars to the main castle and walk to it.

The tunnel from the jail cells leads to under Ferro's elevator. if you raise the elevator without standing on it, you have a shortcut you don't really need.
If you use the portcullis key accross the courtyard from the Prince's penthouse (accross from where you can open the cages), you raise the portcullis that's in your way downstairs (where Dteowner describes.) There's no keyhole, just an area that says "specific item required"
