Pirates of the Caribbean Interview with the movie stars |
|
In addition to ther review, GamesDomain also offers an interview with the movie's star Johnny Depp & Keira Knightley, talking about both the movie and the videogame:
Games Domain: How did you get involved with doing voice work for the videogame?

Keira Knightly: They phoned me up, said, "There's a Pirates of the Caribbean game, do you want to do the narration?" and I said "YES!" It was that easy. The total work-time was between 35 and 40 minutes. They gave me a cup of coffee, I sat down, and I had a bit of a chat -- about shopping, I think -- with the guys that were doing the game. It was kind of difficult because I'm dyslexic, so having to sight-read the thing was a little tricky.

It's weird, because nobody can listen to their own voice - I don't know about you, but I hate listening to my voice. The idea that anybody would want to have my voice, that I think sounds crap anyway, in a narration was kind of crazy; I haven't done any voice-overs as such before.
|

Grr.. six questions, only. Well, anyway, someone seriously needs to show GTA3 and Vice City to Johnny. _________________ Patito |

That just freaks me out completely. I'm never looking in the right direction, and I never walk the right way. It's just horrific.
