Why can't i join Telvanni or Redoran?
   

Reading other posts from pple, it seemed that there was no prob w/joining any one two or three of the houses. yet when I ask to join (at the appropriate place/person), i'm told that i can't cuz i'm a member of Hlaalu. Is this normal? Can it be remedied w/out cheating?

It is normal... there is a mod that allows you to join all 3 houses at once.
