Getting out of the monastery

I have seen a couple of posts about how to get out of the monastery after sneaking in, and most people have described jumping up on one of the pillars to get out. If you talk to Gorax, who is in the storeroom near the entrance, you can buy the key for the front door from him for FREE.

Really? Thanks, I'll have to check that out. It could come in very handy.

I'm replaying the game with the NOTR expansion and got stuck in the Monastery last night. The trick with jumping from the pillars didn't seem to work (or I've totally lost my touch). I had to use the "Go To" console command to get out.
