Mage guild bug, Help
   

The second Mage guild quest does not work for me. I am supposed to put the fake soul gem to Ajira's desk and come back, but when I do, I am asked that have you done that and I cannot answer that(no selection of Yes/no). Anyone know way around this????

did you put the gem IN the desk, rather than just placing it on top?
