Is she killable? Ive tried 10 times and i cant even get her energy down. Is it just i who suck or do i need to use a unique tactic on her. Would be very happy for some information on this.
Gothic is a great game by the way.

Actually, I had the same problem, and realized that there was no need to kill her. you can simply 'push' her out of the way, take all of her eggs and leave her there to rot. When you get back to camp you will be rewarded for bringing back the eggs, and the story continues.. |

She is more vulnerable to melee weapons.
I took her out with three or four blows with the orc hammer.

I just killed her using the battle sword, i think it took around 10-15 hits or so. she couldn't even touch me, too fat |

Monsters are "invulnerable" if you cannot do enough damage with your weapon.
NPC's can be "invulnerable" if they play a important role in a plot-critic scene later in the game.

That's one of the things I find so great about this game. I could have gotten up to the queen and not be able to kill her because my sword wasn't powerful enough, then I would have been stuck until i went all the way back and upgraded.. but.. there was an alternate solution, i just thought about it and took a chance. There are many times throughout the game where i noticed different ways to achieve an objective. |

I found that only "Critical Hits" took damage away from her, so if your trained 2lvls in 1 handed weapons 30% of your hits will be critical hits, hence you'll only be able to do damage to her 30% of the time. Same thing with the bows. |

If you reach Level 20 at the point you reach this cave (that I did) you are able to take out the entire cave without taking damage.

you may spend a lot of arrows, but if she is too tough for a melee weapon, try a bow, or some magic scrolls.if i recall minecrawlers are vunerable to fire (PYROKINESIS BABY!!)...
i dont think you need to kill her, come to think of it. its good if you doo, lots of exp, but you can just collect the eggs and be on your way. she cant touch you unless you come to close |

My bone bow did no damage, but my rock crusher (or whatever) mace took her out in 15 or so hits.
BTW - I am a master of one handed and two handed weapons now and my chances for a critical have never gone past 10% in either. So I don't know what you mean by the 30% chance for a critical, etc.?

hmmm...well i have no idea what you guys are talking about with all this 'critical hit' nonsense, i only had level 1 one handed sword skill and i took her out with my orc hammer in about 10-15 hits and i didnt take a scratch! trust me, the best and easiest way to go is with the orc hammer cause it does a lot of damage, you dont need critical hits, and it swings fast enough that she cant even hit you. and DONT PASS HER UP! shes worth 2500 exp. points! (NOT 2000, ahem  ) |
