am lvl 24 guard using scars sword..
chapter 4 banned from oc.. i figured i have to join the mercs now? how do i do that? figured i'd talk to gorn but icant seem to find him! at the new camp at his normal place.. his just not there  (havent killed him etc  ) so what to do?
otherthings..;
what do u do with the blue magic totem thingy in the swamp? i killed the sharks and stuff but dunno what to do with the pillar..
btw i killed fletcher and all the guards from both gates in oc.. hope its ok

If you are banned from OC (talk to Diego & Milton that guard the 'doors' of the OC) you will have the alternative "Id like to join you" or something like that while you are talking to Saturnas.
I think you meet gorn outside the new camp after you know that you are exiled. That is, take the road past the rice-lords house and walk up to the new camp that way. Gorn stands just outside the gates.
Havnt found any use for that blue thing...
As far as killing goes - kill whoever you want, except the ones that helps you.
Diego, Milton, Gorn, Lester, Scorpio, the OC blacksmith for example.
