I doubt it's your mouse, your framerate probably just stinks. Go into the morrowind .ini file and change the 'showfps' line from 0 to 1. Then when you go into the game, you can see the frame rate in the bottom right corner of the screen. Of course, you should download all the newest drivers for your hardware, and get the SafeDisk crack to speed up your performance. Morrowind is a power hog because the world is so great, so you have to have a high end computer to run it well.

Nope, Not FramRate...
Everything but the mouse cursor moves just fine...
It mostly affects the dialogue system interface and the windowed interface ( inventory, map, stats, magic )... At least it is most notable there...
It does affect the mouse in game, in the sense that I can be running around and lookin and pannig my ( virtual ) head left to right, and I get a stutter... but it's not framerate, it's the mouse... moving straight ahead thru any crowd is no problem...
1.7Ghz P4
512MB DDR
Ti4400 128Mb
Running 800x600 maxxed out
Never had a stutter of any kind before patch....
Played thru entire game before patch...
Started Over when patch came out, and added a few plug-ins...
Attack of the Mouse Stutter...
Removed Plug-Ins...
Still Stutter...
Uninstalled entire game...
Reinstalled unpatched version for retail CD...
No Plug-ins
Still have stutter...
Total Weirdness... _________________ ======================

When you say "Enhancement plugins" what are they? Were any of them tweak tools that edited your registry or other system settings? I don't see how a regular plugin could do that, but if you ran something like an optimizer exe, that could mess things up that unistalling would not fix.
try deleting registry entries and reinstalling...maybe |

ok, Ok, OK...
I just figured it out...
RealTime Shadows...
It must save the setting to teh registry... or sumsuch...
And the Patch must default to a higher level than I had it at...
( I am nearly certain it was OFF [ I don't need no stink'n shadows ] )
Turned it off, and the mouse works normally...
To further test my theory,
Turned it back on , and the lag was back...
Why the Mouse tho???
