I'm going to be a mage. I am in level 11 and have saved up 96lp. I have 37strenght and 22dex plus 12 mana. I have also learned to sneak and skin animals.
The question is should I use my lp's on learning mana potions or hp potions?
Btw, Is the rapier better than a weapon with "50 strenght and 50 damage"? Any ideas on anything else I should use my lp's on(like picketpock,1hand or bows etc.)? |

I personally wouldn't recommend spending any lp-s at all on potion brewing this early in the game... |

Mana -- you'll need them for your spells. And since you can get a healing spell, you can use mana potions for healing as well as damage (healing spells are mana-cheap, so this is an economical approach -- you use a lot less blue than red for the same amount of healing).
However, ultimately you'll probably want both, since you need lower-level potions to learn higher-level potions, and the real purpose of alchemy is to be able to make permanent stat boosting potions. |
