What rule set will appear in Lionheart? |
|
OK, I know that I'm just a lazy bastard, and I probably could have searched the Internet for it, but still - what will be a rule set for the upcoming Lionheart? It's Bioware game, but it uses something specific, certainly not D&D. Will it be based on developing special skills, or on experience, or on something else? Any other interesting news/rumors about this title?
BTW this is the game I can't wait to play. Screens are beautiful, and the idea of alternative history of medieval Europe is very nice, too. I might even suggest that those who wait for BG3 will probably find Lionheart to be as close to their expectations as it could be. (However, I also wouldn't mind yet another Forgotten Realms game from Bioware ) |

Its uses the SPECIAL system as used in the Fallout games
SPECIAL stands for Strength Perception Endurance Charisma Intelligence Agility and Luck.
There is lots all over the web about it and RPGdot has done some features so if you have never played Fallout do a feature search on RPGdot
EDIT: Cos I'm such a nice guy here's the link to the RPGdot Lionheart page with all the links to the feature done - http://www.rpgdot.com/popup.php?popup=2&games=675 _________________ "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true."

Sorry to be pedantic but it isn't a Bioware game at all - it's a Black Isle Studios published game being externally developed by Reflexive. |
