In the Blue corner, sporting a small but loyal following, with a superior story, heaps of NPC's and bathing women, but still hurting from the Mud scandal, Gothic!!!
In the Red corner, ovecomong a super-linear story with legions of fans, toting tons of skills, a superior interface, and endless possibilities for items, Diablo II!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, place your votes!
Lets get ready to rumble!!! |

gothic rules. believe me. d2 is just point and click and kill diablo and lets see who has more SOJs and my druid kicks ur butt and its story line sucks compared to gothic.
FINAL CONCLUSION: Gothic will (quote) pound d2 into a pile of Mud (end quote) |

This is no fair fight in this RPG forum. If you go to an action game forum, and make the same request D2 will equally kick Gothics arse there as Gothic will kick D2's here. D2 is simply not enough RPG to compete with Gothic here. |

Sorry guys (and Gal), I beg to differ.
DiabloII wins for me
- it has less bugs (no show stoppers anyway), battlenet and many more classes for a truly different experience. Plus on top of that i like the progression of Normal, Nightmare and Hell which allows character development for a lot longer than Gothic. Much more replayability than gothic IMHO
Having said that Gothic is my second fave game. |

isnt it a little bit irrelevant make such votes on discussion board focused on Gothic? ")

Nice try... Danicek is right.
I liked Diablo 1 and 2, and I like Gothic. I never felt the need to join a Diablo board, though, so there's no question which game gets my vote here.

Heheheh, Gothic will have slobbering fanatical fight to the death small group of fans behind it, while Diablo 2, will have the inattentive masses of faceless gamers numbering hundreds of thousands behind them... now, the question... Can 1 fight to the death hardcore fanatic take out 10 meandering zombies...
This, and more answers can be found at RING SIDE!.
