Bound Weapon and Lock Spell

Can anyone please let me know how I can aquire any Bound Longblade and a Bound Shortblade? Do I have to barter them, or make them with a spell?

Also, I need to know where I can get a Lock Spell.

Thanks in advance.

Bound equipment is conjured with a spell. Check page 30 of your manual.

Don't think I've ever picked up the lock spell, so can't help you there. Sorry.

I believe you can get both of the bound spells from: spoiler...

The mage guild in Balmora. The tall, snooty woman with the blond hair (whose name I can't remember ) sells most of the bound item spells. If she doesn't have what you want then the battlemage at Fort Moonmoth will. You can also get the Ondusi's Unhinging spell from the mage guild in Balmora... I believe from the same woman.

I think you're right about that, but he asked for a "lock" spell, not an "unlock". That's why I had trouble with it. BTW, in case you were wondering, there IS a "lock" spell listed in the manual- I checked when I saw the initial question because I thought it was a mistake, too.

I didn't even occur to me that it could be a mistake! I completely missed it... I actually thought he asked for an unlock spell!

Lock spells are fun. I was on a mission to assassinate someone, and whenever I 'honorably' attacked him (couldn't goad him into attacking with taunt he just had a 'goodbye' option) I would get jumped by a bunch of other people.

Well, I went into the room he was in (in an inn), turned around, and cast 'Do Not Disturb!' (lock spell ... strength 1 so I could picklock it even if I was a klutz to get out).

Whack. Whack. Whack. Gush. Death.

People came running at his screams, but couldn't open the door. I looted him, used a scroll of divine intervention, and blew a kiss goodbye to them.

@Xen - Sounds like fun. Do you recall where you got it from?

I was racking my brain when posting and couldn't come up with an answer... but I kept an eye out for it and I found it. One of the mages in the Caldera mage guild has it for sale... it's called Fenrick's Doorjam.
