The little black window shows up in the corner,the main menu appears and whem I press play these is a flash and I return to desktop. I have windows 98 and Radeon 32mb ddr. I have updated the video drivers. Now what? |

It seem likes to be video card problem, especially for Radeon.
1)Make sure you adjust the desktop to 32 bit color.
2)SafeDisc encryption software on the MW Cds also cause game to crash during launch. It mean your CD-Rom/DVD-Rom have problem with Safedisk.
3)Make sure you close all non-essential background programs (use CTRL+ALT+DEL and End Task).
4)your "impoverished" video card.

I had the same problem. Set it to 32 bit color and it was fine after that!

Get some cash and buy a new graphic card. 32MB graphic card wont give you alot to enjoy in morrowind |
