Girion does 2H, Cedric does 1H. Did you check for Girion? Honest it's him.

I've heard people tell of selling to Raoul, beating him up and taking it back then selling to Bosper.

Hm, that seems to me a good idea, but when I attack Raoul all the others attack me. Same with that other guy who had that thing with sheep and whom I need to beat up.
The other teacher I could not find. Will do my best to find him.

Girion is in the same area as Cedric. Maybe you could get away with beating up Raoul if a merc. I had trouble with the farmers also if beating Bullco and getting his stuff. If you don't touch him when he's down, they leave you alone.

Sometimes he can be found in the armchair downstairs from where the paladins sleep. He's the one who trains paladins though, so if he's not there, I don't know what to tell you. I guess maybe marvin mode might help but I don't know the codes.

Are Paladins sleeping in the house right from the Governor's palace?
There I did not look. Will do tonight.
Thanks.

If you have already visited the ship, Girion can then be found near the ship on the dock.

Also, about beating up NPCs (esp. at Onar's farm) -- just taunt them (most named NPC's have some dialog that will set them off) and, as they draw their weapon, run away from other NPCs for a ways. Then, when alone with your prey, you can toy with them all you like without setting off the other NPCs in the area.

Still I did not find this Girion or something. Not in house and not in upper quarter.
Well I did get the skeletons behind the bandits stronghold. Quite a lot off goodies overthere. I have strength now on 85 + one amulet of 15 and a ring of 5 for strength.
Also went again into the crypt and killed 2 guards and the skeletons that came out in each room after opening the chest. With the third guard there are skeletons all ower the place. In the room and in 2 corridors 2 skeleton mages. They are real pain in the butt. Tried to use tactic someone said overhere what is to escape to the entrance and get them one at the time. That could work for 1st 2 rooms but with the third there came I think 3 skletons and a shadow warior just beside the entrance. No way to get past them. Maybe on a bit higher level and more dexterity.
Killed Raoul with crossbow. Just need to get a bit away from him and shoot couple of bolts at him. He comes running alone and you finish him off with copuple of bolts. Did the same to several mercenaries.
- Can that have a bad influence on the rest of the game?

What chapter?

If chapter 5, check at end of wharf for Girion.

You need Wolf in ch 3, Sylvio, Bullco, Rod and Cipher in Ch 4. Depending on who you bring on ship, you need Torlof, Lee, Bennett, Angar and Gorn in ch 5. Raoul was just for the black troll quest.

Well as far as I can remember now I did not kill any of these crucial personalities. Only the guy who was standing down on the road from Onar's farm to the inn had a name but I think you did not mention him. However I was looking for Bulco in order to kick his butt but he was gone as well. Hope he will get back later or is my game comletely bugged.
And btw I am now still in chapter 3. Think next move will be to go to the walley again and then I will be in 4.
Just saw your comment on old tower in the walley. I am going to fix that King snapper tonight as well.
- BTW does it make any sense to kill off the Orcs that are besieging the castle?
I have done some of them last time I was there. It takes some time but it works. One at the time as much as possible combining crossbow and sword.
First shoot at them and wait untill one or two grt out of the groop and attack you. Then run away and wait a liitle farther away and finish them off with sword or crossbow.
- Is it a must to be able to make the runes as a Paladin?
I saw your other comment on heawy Paladin armor.

You only need to make the one rune as paladin, you get it from a book much later.

The guy down the road was Buster, but you don't need him later unless you merc. Bullco, if still there is always in the kitchen with Sylvio. You don't really NEED him except for kicking his butt. He just adds to the story a bit otherwise. You can probably continue without him.

The king snapper was in ch 2. You had to talk to Bilgot about him before he showed up. If you in ch 3, not sure if he will be there or not.

You can kill the orcs. No one will realize or appreciate it. But it's worth like three levels of exp. So, go for it. Now you are higher level with higher dex etc, they will be easier to kill.

I spoke to Lee who said that some mercs left to the Walley with Silvio. Now that you said Bullco and Silivio were together I belive that Bullco is gone with them to the walley. But he is not important as you said maybe I find him overthere later.
I spoke to Bilgot in the 2nd chapter but could not do anything against that beast. I suppose that is the one in the tower so he should still be there.
And getting all Orcs seems to me a good idea as well. Now I am 3 levels higher and have magic twohander. It should work good.
Banzai!!!

On this last go around, I decided to kill off Sylvio's faction (ask Jarvis for list) of mercs in Chapter 1 (except for Raoul -- kept him for Black Troll hide quest later). I only killed them after going through whatever dialog/task thing I had to do with each to get potentially accepted into mercs.

Things are a lot quieter around Onar's farm without them!

I'm now in Chapter 5 (as a Paladin) and there were no problems because I killed them. Actually, not having Bullco show up in Chapter 4 (in VoM) was very helpful, since Biff won't help you fight Sylvio and/or Bullco.

Yeah, Bullco's worthless in Ch 4 except you get to hear him whine a bit about Sylvio being dead.
