I talked to tech support. Some people should try this.

Everyone that is having freeze problems or desktop crashes should go in to morrowind.ini file and edit Max FPS=240 to Max FPS=60. (I know you have heard this before but remember to update everything, motherboard, video card, and sound card, anything you can get newer drivers for do it) This is what the tech guy said to do. It did not help me completely but it made it more stable then it was.
Also everyone should email (support@bethsoft.com) or even better call (410-568-3685) to let them know there is a problem. If we don't let them know they may never fix it. I hope this helps some people.
