Why can't I use my mouse like a 1st person shooter which this is kinda. I have a MS Explorer 3.0 (Optical) and I want to use all the buttons. I can't bind any mouse buttons at all to play like my Counter Strike.

My normal setup is like this

Button 1 = Fire or Attack
Button 2 = Forward

The rest of the buttons would be used how ever I need it to be used but why can't I even do this.

I bought the game and it was hard at first but now it's AWESOME!!! I'm not much for RPG's but a friend told me about it and so I went out and bought it and I love it except the fact that I can't bind my mouse buttons!!! Can you guys make a patch to allow me to bind my mouse keys.

You cannot assign mouse buttons to actions in Gothic.
The mouse buttons (if mouse is enabled) are hardcoded -- sorry.
