How do I kill the last shaman and the apolotiac templers I am going crazy......... I have tried everything

When you first meet the Last Shaman, he says something like come back when you are a worthy opponet. Which is your que to leave the temple. Take that strange sword you found to Xardas. You did find a strange sword, didn't you? After a few more quests, you'll be ready to go back to the temple, with a better weapon and better armor.
