Everquest: The Game Rolls On |
|
With EQ2 coming up within the next year, focus seems to be shifting from Everquest-Live. Just the same, the EQ community continues to thrive.
Recently, there was yet another monumental event, as 3 uber guilds took on a technically unkillable creature known as "The Sleeper" on the Rallos Zek server. Over a 150 people took part in the event, the details of which can be found on Planet EQ.

Long-standing issues that melee characters have had with the way that warriors are handled in the higher levels has finally brimmed over into out and out protest. Known as the Warrior Stand-Down, it is meant to bring attention to the plight of warriors everywhere.

In response, Alan Vancouvering mentioned in a recent article that there would be a live chat on the 24th to discuss the issues plaguing melee classes. From the sounds of it, there will be major overhauls to the existing EQ model. The warriors in the protest have decided to postpone their mass protest until Dec. 2nd, so that the announcements from SOE can be measured.
