So, one likes westerns, eh Bartacus? You like Once Upon A Time In The West too? I personally prefer Good/Bad/Ugly, but the finale in Once... is astounding.

Whom's turn is it?

I do like westerns, but my last post here was a quote. Although Conan just gave the answer himself and made it impossible to tell who's turn it was, I took the responsabillity to not let this thread die.

Ah, I see. "One is glad to be of service."

Hmmm. I don't know. A pure guess: Johnny English?

Ah, I think I get your clue, the link is hairy, hairy Robin Williams, right (I was tempted to say "missing link," but that would just be cruel )

So let's see... I have seen quite a few of his films, and that quote doesn't ring any bells, so I'll start with one I haven't seen... is it Bicentennial Man?

Lucky guess! OK, sorry I took so long, here's my quote:

person 1 (hysterical): "...you think you can sacrifice someone else's life instead of your own... you're an animal!"

person 2: "no - worse - human - HUMAN!"

For some bizarre reason I've always been a Jon Voight fan. That's the only reason I know this one, although it's a pretty good movie anyway.

It's Runaway Train.

Hey, nothing bizarre about being a fan of the Voigt. He was amazing in this and Midnight Cowboy. Just a shame he's rarely in such good films.

Oh yeah, you're correct... but you knew that anyway.
Didn't see when you posted, but apologies once more if I've kept you waiting. The old internet connection decided to take a short break from its duties (connections lost due to thunderstorms, our ISP says )

Over to you, volcaneros.

"Cameron, dear friend, you thought we wouldn't have any fun. Shame on you."

Hmm. Wasn't the "other" kid in Ferris Bueller's Day Off called Cameron? I seem to recall he was, and that quote seems to fit it. So that's my guess!

Another easy one then:

"Oh, we've got both kinds, we've got country and western!"

Argh! I have that horrible feeling, I'm sure I know it but can't put my finger on it. Hang on... now I come to ponder it, I think I may have heard it in a Bill Hicks gig, perhaps he pinched it from a movie or vice-versa. So maybe I don't know it after all

I'll guess at... The Blues Brothers.
