K, this is going to sound like a stupid question, and Im sure it is, but.... How do you use the runes and scrolls? I can't get anything to work. Im in the valley and would love to be able to use the teleport runes so I don't have to spend so much time running back and forth! They just won't work for me.  Do I need to learn a magic skill or something before the runes will work? Ive tried pressing ctrl, and Ive tried both clickers on the mouse. Only thing I can think of is I need to learn a magic skill cus I havent done that. I am in the Militia trying to become a Paladin.
If I need to learn a magic skill, who would I see for that?

To use runes (except for teleportation runes) you have to learn magic circles. You can only do this when you are a mage. To use magic select a spell (you'll seen the spell in your right hand), press Ctrl and forward to use the spell. 
Edit: Paladins runes also don't require a number of magic circles. |

So Im assuming ctrl and forward will let you use keys too then... cus I havent been able to use them either. <sigh>
Love this game! Im sure Ill love it even more once I work out how to use all the controls.

You need nothing special to use keys. If you have the key in your inventory, the appropriate door or chest will just open when you press control.
Your paladin runes will require lp when you are ready for them.
