Titan Quest Designer Diary #5 @ Gamespot |
|
Gamespot has two new Titan Quest features this week. The first is a text article written by gameplay designer, Arthur Bruno. It focuses on the skill system that will be employed in Titan Quest.
Finally, the Titan Quest skill system will offer an incredible amount of replayability, not only because you have access to 28 different class combinations and different skill builds within those combinations, but also because skills do not become obsolete. In a system in which early skills are phased out and you're encouraged to save all your points for the highest-level skills, half the possible skill choices are effectively eliminated. Even for people like myself, who often replay the same class over and over to perfect it, there is the added challenge of trying to figure out the most optimal advancement balance between leveling your mastery and leveling your skills.
You can read the article here and you can access a video interview of Arthur Bruno discussing the same topic here. |

Main reason i'm so drawn to the game is because of its setting Greek mythology is just awesome and i've always liked it and been interested in it, it makes the perfect setting for videogames and movies if done properly if you take a look at God of War for PS2 that was a disapointment to Greek Mythology they could have done so much more with it but you just ended up with an average action adventure.
I really like Greek / Norse Mythology i dont like Egyptian mythology i think its crap and the units too not into it although the girls are sexy i wish they woulda made this game 100% greek mythology but oh well.
Yeah the graphics look really nice i like how they let you choose to be male or female instead of forcing one all games should be like that.
I hope the game has alot to do with the Greek Gods like where they talk to you and maybe even get quests for them haha like you go into a temple of Aphrodite and she appears half naked on the cough and talks to you and says she needs a favor and off you got for a quest |
