On the Box it claims there are Multiple Endings for the game. I've beaten the Game as a Mercenary, Templar, Magician of Water, Guard and Necromancer and not yet have I seen a diffrent ending. Am I missing Something? Or Does "Multiple Endings" mean you can end the game as a Variety of diffrent characters. Don't read this if you haven't beaten gothic yet... but the ending I saw was the sleeper being cast back into another world and the naration of my character saying he returned to daylight to see the barrier was destroyed. Is there a diffrent Ending than this? Can Someone Please help! |

Remember the ending of Diablo 1? This is the same thing.

Diablo 1 was one of my greatest dissapointments - this game was much too easy and too short for me - i have given it away as a present to a little kid.
... and so i have never played Diablo 2.

They prolly ordered the boxes when the game was under development, but by the time they got the boxes they also got rid of half of the quests and features. So sad, but quite possible situation - happened once to me when I was in catalogue and directory business back in 1993.

dude play d2!!!! its waaaaaay worth ur money, and the ending isn't a disappointment (at least if u buy the expansion it isn't) u gotta get it. if u even REMOTELY liked d1 u'll love d2. trust me on this one. |

d2 was fun, but it eventually got so monotousous (wrong speeling, sorry, means boring, repeated action) because all i kept doing was click and point....dont get me wrong, its fun, but then I got gothic.....hevent touched d2 in about a month....all my realm characters are probably deleted now...if anyones intrested in playing around with a d2 account on USWest realm, let me know....

Takes 90 days at least to dump characters. I know that my level 80 necromancer, paladin, and barbarian only JUST became gone like two weeks ago (when I logged into Starcraft for the first time in ages and saw that my BNet account was gone.). My friend is a little irked at that, as I gave him permission to loot like most of the high level uniques in the game off my characters and mules. 
His problem. I told him to rob my account months ago.

I wish there was multiple endings for Gothic though... at least two, anyways, for fighter and mage. The mage could chant a powerful spell in front of the Sleeper after the demon lords are toast and then we see the cool portal animation... the fighter could yell and drive the sword into the Sleeper... the sword glows brightly and explodes, sending the Sleeper roaring backwards into the portal.
It wouldn't have been too much to ask.
