Just started chapter 4, and trainer in hagens house is giving me access to holy arrow and light healing runes for 5 LP each. Do I need to purchase these to gain access to later/higher level runes or will later ones become available later and I can purchase those rather than lower level ones.
For example, do I have to purchase light healing in order to be offered medium healing at a later time, or will medium healing be offered later even if i dont take light healing? If its the latter, it would seem to make sense to conserve lps until higher ones became available. Thx in advance. |

you got it. you gotta learn light healing before medium, then medium before heavy.
same with the damage runes. gotta learn holy arrow before learning harm evil, and that before destroy evil.
but you also cant just go through and get them all just because you have the lp. i think you need to be a certain level before you can get the higher runes. this is only an educated guess though, not necessarily true.
*extra spoiler* - you'll end up finding the heavy healing later so you might not want to spend the points on learning it. youll find the destroy evil as well, so the highest lev paladin runes you end up finding rahter than spending lp on so keep that in mind

You will get them for 5lp each but only when you do certain quests for the paladins. Each time you do a task go back and ask Albrect again.
Note: When you go into the valley you will find a dead paladin with the holy light rune on his body.
No you aren't required to get one rune before you can get another, you will just be given a list to choose from.
