I killed Dagoth ur and went back to speak with lord vivec. There were some explainations links for dialog and such but there didn't seem to be any confirmation or congratulations that I killed Dagoth. He didn't really seem to know that I completed the task - which was clearly logged in my journal.
Is there someone imparticular that I need to speak with to conclude the main quest?

You're done - and though I did get a tepid confirmation from Vivec, my dialogues with him were still full of references for the "upcoming battle"
Did you like your anti-climax? I know I didn't.

Well, I thought the end battle and all the action and happenings involved to be quite cool and fairly satisfying. But man, the follow up or epilogue is completely lost. Considering the intense storyline and script (not to mentions all the text - archane and otherwise) and all the man hours that went into the plot, it's really hard for me to understand why no epilogue.
God knows, Bethesda had the talent to make it excellent.
Ah well, still an excellent game. In fact, it's the only RPG I've ever finished.

The only thing that buggs me is that even though i got the dagoth ur killed entry and the end diatribe from azura, everyone comments that i must have messed up somehow and that i should talk to the archcannon to see if i can fix it. Regular people in mw regard me as neverarr and praise me for saveing them, but main quest people involved with the main quest say otherwise.
maybe they figured to put some vivic or (can't remeber the 1st wise woman near khull) end quest update in the game but forgot?????
