SWG: Rage of the Wookiees - Combat Preview @ VIA Gamers

VIA Gamers takes a look at the combat upgrade that will accompany the SWG expansion 'Rise of the Wookiees', in this preview:
Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) is about to undergo a major reconstruction. For a long time people have been talking about the need to balance out combat. For many players, when they found that their chosen profession wasn't as uber as they would like it to be they would complain about it in the forums. Players have complained about the fact that some professions were more powerful than others was not fair and that all professions needed to be equally powerful. I personally don't agree with this. I think that Sony did an excellent job with their first attempt at the combat system. There may have been some minor tweaks that were needed but that's about all. I have been enjoying that combat system for almost 2 years. This week, for the first time, I got to test out the new combat upgrade which will debut along with the new expansion pack Rage of the Wookies which will nicely coincide with the release of the new Star Wars movie, Revenge of the Sith due to hit cinemas worldwide on 19th May. Even though the time line of Star Wars Galaxies will remain the same, somewhere between Star Wars IV and Empire Strikes back, the SWG universe will introduce content from the new movie such as the wookie home world of Kashyyyk, creatures and ships.
