I suppose I fit most of the Gemini traits pretty well (I was born on June 3), but there is a problem with horoscopes. They list enough traits that you pretty much have to fit into the category set for you. I guarantee you will at least fit one of the traits listed for your horoscope. Most people have many personality traits, so you see, it's not really that amazing that your personality may fit the one they list.

Although I don't believe in them, I sometimes read my horoscope, and it usually fits OK (about 50/50). Then I read the rest of them, and most of the rest fit pretty well too, often even better.

In fact at the start of 2004 our newspaper's Sunday magazine did a big feature on horoscopes for the coming year. Mine fit so well, I was amazed. Then I read the rest of them, and except for ONLY ONE, all the rest fit me as well or better!! So I guess that is the sign of a truly talented horoscope writer. But I guess the start of the year is a bit easier to write for.

So my advice is to read them all and pick the one you like.

Read this guy's view on astrology. Pretty entertaining.

I don't put any stock in horoscopes. I have read books on my star sign and they are not me, except 1% which was just a lucky guess.

I think it's the same as trying to tell you who you are by the name your parents gave you. My mum saw a coaster with the name Julie and a description, and thought it was very funny as it was not like me at all... so she gave it to me. Apparently I am delicate, feminine, popular, intelligent and creative.... obviously they have not seen the way I dress, heard the way I talk, seen my "list" of friends, seen me in my day to day life, or seen the way I draw.

I think its quite possible that things such as the positioning of the stars can effect how people behave.

I highly doubt however that anyone has the ability to comprehend such effects, let alone predict them.

Negative. The influence of such things manifests itself when, and only when, people are influenced by their own desires to believe that what they hope - or in some cases, do not hope - to be truth is affirmed or debunked by a third party. If not for this basic human desire of comfort, only empirical data would from the stars be collected.
