Okay, so I need a new card..... :/ |
|
At work I can get an ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500 64MB DDR for about $150. This kills two birds with one stone cuz I have wanted to do video editing for 4 years.
Will this card take care of my problems?
Also, on a non-Morrowind related note, I can find a lot of reviews for the replacement of this video card, the new ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500 128MB DDR but my techie friend said it won't make much of a difference, plus the cheapest one I can find is over $300. The reason that I wanted to find a review was to see if there was any negativity in any of its abilities, say video editing for example.
Well, thanks guys, and I hope you can at least answer my first question and anyone that can answer both gets a gold star. _________________ ~ Reverend Wes Ide ~

Only few games use 64 MB of memory on your graphics card. I mean 32 MB is ussually enough. 128 MB is maybe good for advertisement, but really good for performance (or only in some very rare moments). |

An article I read a while ago showed that you can almost use up all the 128 meg of ram on a GF4 by running a game with 4FSAA and 32 bit color. |
