is it a bug, or there is something needs to be done?

Hi everyone, I just have a question to ask, dunno if anyone has had this problem before...

I wanted to join the new camp, but after I delivered the "edited" list from Lares to Diego, then reported back to Lares, I thought I was qualified to be a roque... however, I was required to be at least lvl5.... then I quickly leveled myself to lvl5, and I tried to talk to him again, but the screen still showed that I need to be lvl5 for the addmition....

what should I do?

solution to the problem will be greatly appreciated

You might not have finished all the tasks necessary to join the camp.

Did you do all the minor quests in the NC?

Do I have to?

No, I didnt.

Because I thought doing the list quest was a huge favor for them... If I join the old camp, there wouldnt be a "admission requirement : lvl5" indication show up on my screen when I talk to Diego cuz I didnt get all the people in the outer ring to vote for me. Similiarly, if the message does show up after I meet with Lares, that means lvling up was all I had to do.

But now I think I'll have to do them to get in

thx everyone

Oh, and one more thing, Is there any way to defeat the queen if you dont want to add any str or dex points? I read the JemyM's FAQ, he said if you are a mage, torch it. But how do you do that when you can only become a firemage after you kill the queen?

plz answer

I can think of a couple ways to deal with the Queen, even if you haven't added any Str or Dex to you character.

1. Try using Firebolt and Fireball scrolls -- you can use them even before you actually become a mage.

2. Try luring one or more of the Templers in with you and see if they will hack it up for you.

3. See if you can find enough Str and/or Dex enhancing rings and amulets so you can either swing a rusty 2h sword (Str 30 required) or use a crossbow of some type.

In general, though, regardless of which camp I join and whether I wish to be a mage or not, I always try to get my Str up to at least 30 and Dex up to 25 -- just on general principle.

Yeah your first idea is the one I was thinking of, although I doubt the second idea would acturally work.... it is not hard to lure monsters out, but I dunno how to bring a Templar in since they dont attack me .

And since I follow the main storyline or quests, I didnt see any 2 handed weapons or crossbows at all, so I didnt put that into considerations.

the reason why I wanted to build a mage only character is because I find no practical use for melee weapons or ranged weapons once I have magics....it is the same vice versa except magics are more powerful generally.

Even as a mage you should learn Str to 44 and get a Custodianīs Blade. Then you donīt have to wast Mana on minor enemies.
Ranged weapons are 95% useless for a mage. Theyīre good against blood flies and are needed for one quest.

I found that even if I was level 5 or above, the condition for admission level 5 would show up if I had not completed all the quests necessary.
