Im really looking forward to Gothic 2, i just hope us English people can get hold of it, Gothic was a bastard to get hold of over here.
Just took a look at the features in Gothic 2, over 150 weapons?

Not sure if this is the thread for this.
Does anyone know if we{re going to see a censored version of G2 in non-German markets?
Maybe that{s the cause of the delay.. they{ve got 800 bikini textures to create...

The article says that the rating via German is for 12 for Gothic 2, verses 16 in original Gothic.
So for their release, the game seems more "kiddy" instead of more adult and mature like original Gothic it would seem. See my earlier rant about censcership and politicaly correctness gone mad. 
I have seen movies on television that are MUCH more violent with blood.
I rather enjoyed the more 'light' adult mature style of Gothic, now I think it may be watered down.
Ich spracken duetsch. I can only read very little German, but I believe that is what was stated. Get mien dictionary out...
Oh, the PC Action cover has James Bond 007 and below right a Gothic 'blonde beauty' with nice sword and interesting armor skirt with dierrier in a *** position. Karzon signature made mention of this about which way is the sword pointing. I thought it was funny.

Gothic was also rated <i>12</i>.
The artwork PB did for the PCA cover can be found on the German Gothic II site. Itīs mentioned that the babe will not appear in the game.
The blood and babe level Gothic had didnīt cause any trouble in Germany, so PB doesnīt have any reason for changes.

They did change it? they also had it listed as Adventure game, then reposed the statement back to a RPG. I really thought I read the rating was going to be 12, but if whatever it is the same as Gothic original, then we should still get the 'light' adult entertainment. I believe it was at www.worldofgothic.de
It may just be even more 'fun' than Gothic and they were going to have it rated 16; but with the lower 12, more people can buy it which is good in the end. We will know more November 29 the real skin on this subject.

I donīt even remember what you wrote. Cleaning a thread when itīs moving too far OT is something where a mod just goes the list of posts up (or down) and marks posts for deletion. Iīm not sure if I had a reason to delete yours or if it just got marked somehow.
