Shany Quest?????

I still can't figure out the Shany quest, or the kidnapping of the little girl in Arx. I went to the houses and saw the book where they say they kidnapped her, but I can't figure out where to go to get her???Help!!!

You need to go to level 4 (where the underground see is). and search for a cave with serpant pillar in the middle of it. When you are at the right spot, it will trigger a cutscene and you will be able to continue the Shanny quest.

I know what my problem was. I would cross the bridge, by the Troll Mines and Goblin city, and then go to level 4, but I wouldn't turn right, I would keep going across the the underground sea rocks. I should have turned right as soon as I got to level 4. It took me 3 days to figure this out.
