Dungeon Siege: LoA - Preview @ IGN |
|
IGN has posted a preview of the 'Legends of Aranna' expansion pack for 'Dungeon Siege'.

Here's a snip:
Legends of Aranna comes with a lot. There's a new singleplayer adventure, a new multiplayer adventure, 100s of new monsters, 100s of new weapons and items, new people in your party, 15 - 20 hours of action heavy gameplay, new environments, 70 new spells, and a new box. Quite the expansion, isn't it? Aranna is so big, in fact, that you won't even need Dungeon Siege to play it. When it's released later this year, the game will come bundled with a complete, legitimate copy of Dungeon Siege. This isn't one of those deals where some child in a third world country spent his whole day manually transferring every bit and byte over from a production copy to a CD-R with a laser pen. Nope, you're not buying something that will pay for a pack of Camels. This is the real deal. The philosophy behind the package is to deliver an entire game to people who don't have it. This has the added bonus of saving retail space. And, for those who do have the original, maybe they'll give their copies to a friend who will eventually buy the expansion. $35 will get you everything. Since players will be able to go back into DS and replay that game with the new features of Aranna, it's nice to have a shiny new disc right next to you.
|

Sounds like just more "go from point A to point B and kill everything that moves in between".The price(35$) is too high for another 20 hours of that crap. |
