Blades advancment
   

Anyone know a way to advance beyond operativ in the Blades?

Don't think that's possible. Once Caius Cosades leaves, there is no way to advance any further.

That's what I thought...I'd like to be the grandmaster though

Yeah...that would be cool.

Focusing on the scope of Morrowind and the backstory, becoming Grand Master of the Blades would mean working directly for the Emperor, which would mean going back to Cyrodiil, thus leaving Morrowind and outside the scope of the game.

IMO, that's why advancement in the Blades stops. Once you've become an Operative, it's time for you to exhibit your independence and operate.

Maybe a future ES game will continue the Blades story line.
