How do I learn how to do this?

Enter marvin mode. Focus on the character you want to possess so they are highlighted, then press 'o'. You will jump into their body. To get back to yours, focus on your body and press 'o' again.

You go in to mavin by going to your character screen and enter marvin and then exit the character screen with the same button you entered it.

What is the character screen? I can't get into the Marvin-mode...

The character screen is were you see how much strength, dexterity and mana you have.

's' to enter the character screen, 'marvin' to activate cheat mode and 's' to leave the character screen - 'smarvins'. You should see the words 'Marvin-Mode' in the upper left corner of your screen then.
