Slow leveling

I just got this game on Sunday and I've been playing it quite a bit. I've been killing every monster I see, but I'm only lvl 3. I feel I'm doing something wrong when I hear you guys saying you're lvl 24, 60, etc. Is there another way to gain exp than just killing?

There's no exp in the game. Just do whatever your primary and secondary skills are. The first few levels might seems slow depending on your skills... but it will pick up.

And if it doesn't... savor it, as apparantly you increase really fast later (though it took me 25 hours to get to level 9).

Once you get a lot of money in your pocket, you'll increase levels at a rapid pace.

You have to use/increase your skills or pay to raise those skills to level up. So don't rely on summons, and get a weapon with crappy damage, you swing more and take more hits, and thus raise weapon and armour faster, but you'll take more damage

I'm loving having a character that will level up about once every five hours. But, is it just me, or are Breton Females impossible to admire? My Speechcraft skill is still at a weak 20, but I have had almost no success on them. My character is Altmer.

I'd be surprised if you can admire anyone with that low of a skill.

I have had much success in persuading female Bosmer, and female Altmer. Maybe it's just the Reputation... or the 13k in gold... or, or, or...
