The Dragons - What level must I be to take them ??

I already killed the swamp dragon with the help of two mercenaries....
I have a question ...what level do i need to be as a high fire mage to be able to kill the dragons...is 15 enough???
And another question ...who can teach me to extract a dragon's blood, and where can i find more empty rune stones ??

Only Gestath teaches how to get dragon blood. Try using search and type blank runestones - at the beginning of this forum was really good thread about it.

The dragons have the dumbest ai. You can take them on at a low level, just find out how to exploit their stupidity.

i know ...by climbing to a high place and attacking them from that place but ...it's damn hard to get to the dragons ...they are well protected by fire lizards and others...

No, that's not what I meant.
If you time your attack right, they'll never have a chance to breath fire onto you.

After you hit them, they typically fly up then land several meters to the left or right. You can see where they're about to land.
Right after the dragon lands, hit him immediately. He'll fly up again, and do the same thing. They never learn.

U can buy them from the monastry, go into the library i think

You will need to be a higher level the when you faced the swamp dragon, that was so easy in comparison. But really it depends on whether you are planning on using magic or not, if you are powerful enough magic wise, you should be able to take them from a distance while dodging fireballs, just take alot of mana potions

The same applies for the lizard guys, take them one at a time from a distance, and be careful not to engage more then 2 at a time. Also you get some help from dragon hunters leading up to the toughest dragon so that helps.

There is also the option of changing into an animal and bypassing the dragon defenders altogether. But in my opinion there is too much exp to be gained by fighting them. You will probably be at least lvl 20 by the end of the chapter.
