Guys,
There is a U.K. online retailer called Gameplay.com that ships internationally. They have Gothic 2 set up for June 13th and I was able to pre-order to the USA.
I would suggest that all US (and Canada as well) people place a pre-order here as a pre-emptive strike against a much later U.S. release. You can always cancel things if we get good news ( i.e. JUNE) about the North American release.
EDIT:
There is now another option:
http://game.uk.com - search for Gothic 2. They claim shipping time for overseas is 4 to 6 days using "Royal Mail" (better than gameplay's 8 to 10).
Apparently Game is the largest retailer in the U.K.

June 13th...where on the site does it say it will ship to US?
June 13th is like 3 weeks away...this is sounding way too good to be true.
(Er, the UK version wont have everyone running around with british accents will it?)

Yes, the company does indeed ship to the U.S.A. To see for yourself go to the link and click add to cart, then check out, after that select country other than the U.K., and finally select the shipping destination as the U.S. Unless there are more than one U.S.A s I think we will be fine. |

I have never ordered off them, but one of my friends pre ordered pefect dark off them and he got it on the day of release, this will probably not apply to you since you live accross the pond but you shouldn't have any fear of being ripped off.
b.t.w. If I remember correctly, they are not just an internet inly retailer (however I might be getting this mixed up with something else, but no matter)

Im definitely going to take advantage of this. $41 + $7 shipping (roughly) isnt bad at all, especially considering the release dates for the US are still rumors. |
