Looking for Mod - Magic item appearance change

A mod to get rid of that 'force field' effect on magic items is listed in the Plugin Depot, but the link isn't a direct download link, it's a link to the main page of a mod site that requires you to search their database for the mod. Despite the link, this mod doesn't appear to be there (I've searched the entire thing).

Can someone tell me where I could find it, other than the site listed? Or is there an .ini tweak that'll shut it off?

Much appreciated.

You are right, this mod is not there (and it was there, I am sure about this). I searched all mod sites I know about for you, without succes. So I puted this file up for you on my personal page.

Here is direct link:

Has anyone else found this mod crashes the game just prior to the main menu loading up? Bummer, because a mod like this is really needed. What's the point of having great looking armour when all you see is a puddle of light with your character's head on it?

Is there a e-mail in readme file? You could and probably should e-mail to creator and ask about it....
