i liked it. it was a difficult game with a fairly interesting story. interesting character advancement as well. with a strategic type of combat similar to gothic, except you didnt have to pay money to learn new combat styles. you got them as you got farther in the game.

Revenant was/is a good game

No doubt it was a good game.

I bought it about a year ago and played it continuously until I finished it.

It was in the bargain bin for £9.99. My perceived value of the game was that I would have been dissapointed if I had bought it at full price for £30.

So, value for money...yes it was good and I enjoyed it. Those ninja type charcters were a pain though.

I always keep my eyes on the bargain bin. I have the original Age of Wonders (£4.99), HOMM3 (£4.99), both of which are actually great games.
Its worth keeping your eyes open.

Some games come out and you have mixed feelings about them via comments & reviews. You're not sure if you want to stump up £30 for it.....so don't. Wait till the price drops.

For me, Gorasul would be an example of this. If I gambled my £30 and found that I didn't rate it, I would be very pi**ed off. But if I get it for £10 and don't rate it, it doesn't hurt as much.

A couple of other bargain bin games I have now (£10 each) are Tiberian Sun & Imperium Galactica 2. Not RPG, but still great to play for a quick strategy fix.

Oh yeah...Summoner...got that cheap also.

Still, all this lot goes back on the shelf when Morrowind arrives in England next Friday !!

Game on

Regards,

Hexmaster
