i saw it a few months ago. like the only one left in EB. seemed pretty crappy to me. _________________ =Follower of Righteousness=

i liked it. it was a difficult game with a fairly interesting story. interesting character advancement as well. with a strategic type of combat similar to gothic, except you didnt have to pay money to learn new combat styles. you got them as you got farther in the game. _________________ Moo. if you do we can play an ip game together. Ive never played multiplayer yet cuz i havent found anyone who plays it. I personally bought it over a year ago for 10 dollars. I wonder how much it costs now. _________________ Moo. Just do it, purse your lips and let out a MIGHTY MOO!

Revenant was/is a good game |
|
No doubt it was a good game.
I bought it about a year ago and played it continuously until I finished it.
It was in the bargain bin for £9.99. My perceived value of the game was that I would have been dissapointed if I had bought it at full price for £30.
So, value for money...yes it was good and I enjoyed it. Those ninja type charcters were a pain though.
I always keep my eyes on the bargain bin. I have the original Age of Wonders (£4.99), HOMM3 (£4.99), both of which are actually great games.
Its worth keeping your eyes open.
Some games come out and you have mixed feelings about them via comments & reviews. You're not sure if you want to stump up £30 for it.....so don't. Wait till the price drops.
For me, Gorasul would be an example of this. If I gambled my £30 and found that I didn't rate it, I would be very pi**ed off. But if I get it for £10 and don't rate it, it doesn't hurt as much.
A couple of other bargain bin games I have now (£10 each) are Tiberian Sun & Imperium Galactica 2. Not RPG, but still great to play for a quick strategy fix.
Oh yeah...Summoner...got that cheap also.
Still, all this lot goes back on the shelf when Morrowind arrives in England next Friday !!
Game on
Regards,
