The Lady...+25 Endurance is completely invaluable. Plus, I'm playing an Imperial Knight. Choosing the Lady gave me a starting Personality=85! No wonder everyone seems to love me...

Yeah, the rituals okay, but I've heard rumors that the turn undead spell won't work.

I chose the Adronach because I read it was very useful. When people cast spells at you you can absorb the magicka.

I twice disappointed. First I didnt know the con of this sign is that magicka doesnt regenrate over time!

Second, I'm level 4 and there seems to be no mob casting spell. I mean I only fight monsters that bite and claw. I'm playing a sorcerer but I cant afford to cast spells so I have to fight with a sword

That's the way Atronach start. You're a fighter until you get a well established mark/recall point set up to a shrine that can regenerate your mana (any shrine that casts a spell you'll suck up like the magic vampire you are) and a bunch of potions of magicka restoration.

In the end when all you're fighting is magic slinging monsters, apparantly, you'll be fat-happy in magicka and able to rock and roll all day.

i picked the ritual and am really disappointed. i thought the healing skills would come in handy, but they don't provide anything that i can't get through a spell with my restoration skill. finally, the turn undead is worthless. you are better off just re-killing the undead and being done with it. if i could edit my character and change the sign i would go with either the lady or lover. also, the atronach is nice later on in the game when you are dealing with more and more majick users.

hey...i was just thinking. is there a way to change your characters birthsign once you have already begun the game? can you edit using the drop down menu (the one that opens up when you press ~)?

You can change your birthsign in the console by entering: player->enablebirthmenu . But IIRC it will also set your level back to 1.

Hopefully it would reset your stats/skills too, or that would suck trying to level up to get back to where you were... then again, if you kept your current HP all it cost you was the levels.

I just make another character.

EverythingXen, your right on. if it resets my levels i think i will just finish the game with my current sign choice and then--using the insights gained from the first time through the game--i will just start over with a new character. also, i am wondering what people's experience with the lover sign has been. is that a sign worth playing? also, how about the serpent? is the poison ability decent?

The Lover's not bad. The paralyzing kiss can come in handy... but the 200 stamina hit you take using it can be irritating. better off getting a weapon with paralyze on it.

As for the serpent... that poison power is terrible. You can make a better spell that DOESN'T do its best to kill you at the same time.
